T he sons of Israel did things secretly which were not right against the Lord their God. Moreover, they built for themselves high places in all their towns, from watchtower to fortified city.

Copiii lui Israel au făcut pe ascuns împotriva Domnului, Dumnezeului lor, lucruri cari nu sînt bune. Şi-au zidit înălţimi în toate cetăţile lor, dela turnurile străjerilor pînă la cetăţile întărite.
