T hey rejected His statutes and His covenant which He made with their fathers and His warnings with which He warned them. And they followed vanity and became vain, and went after the nations which surrounded them, concerning which the Lord had commanded them not to do like them.

Desecharon sus estatutos, el pacto que él había hecho con sus padres y los testimonios que él les había prescrito, siguiendo en pos de vanidades y haciéndose vanos ellos mismos, por imitar a las naciones que estaban alrededor de ellos, aunque Jehová les había mandado que no obraran como ellas.
