B ut the sons of the slayers he did not put to death, according to what is written in the book of the Law of Moses, as the Lord commanded, saying, “ The fathers shall not be put to death for the sons, nor the sons be put to death for the fathers; but each shall be put to death for his own sin.”

卻 沒 有 治 死 殺 王 之 人 的 兒 子 ， 是 照 摩 西 律 法 書 上 耶 和 華 所 吩 咐 的 說 ： 不 可 因 子 殺 父 ， 也 不 可 因 父 殺 子 ， 各 人 要 為 本 身 的 罪 而 死 。
