S o the king consulted, and made two golden calves, and he said to them, “It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem; behold your gods, O Israel, that brought you up from the land of Egypt.”

Après s'être consulté, le roi fit deux veaux d'or, et il dit au peuple: Assez longtemps vous êtes montés à Jérusalem; Israël! voici ton Dieu, qui t'a fait sortir du pays d'Égypte.
