T hen King Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the forced labor, and all Israel stoned him to death. And King Rehoboam made haste to mount his chariot to flee to Jerusalem.

Il re Roboamo mandò Adoram, incaricato dei tributi, ma tutto Israele lo lapidò con pietre, ed egli morí. Allora il re Roboamo si affrettò a salire su un carro per fuggire a Gerusalemme.
