H e had conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest; and following Adonijah they helped him.

وَعَلِمَ يوآبُ بنُ صُرُوِيَّةَ وَالكاهِنُ أبِياثارُ بِنَواياهُ، فَوافَقا عَلَى أنْ يُساعِداهُ فِي مَسعاهُ.
