T hen David said to Joab and to all the people who were with him, “ Tear your clothes and gird on sackcloth and lament before Abner.” And King David walked behind the bier.

Entonces David dijo a Joab y a todo el pueblo que estaba con él: “Rasguen sus vestidos, y cíñanse de cilicio, y hagan duelo delante de Abner.” Y el rey David iba detrás del féretro.
