Absalomi, ndërsa ofronte flijimet, dërgoi të thërrasë nga qyteti i tij Gjiloh Ahithofelin, Gilonitin, këshilltarin e Davidit. Kështu komloti bëhej më i fortë, sepse populli shtohej rreth Absalomit.
