T hen the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

Poi Dio il Signore disse: «Ecco, l’uomo è diventato come uno di noi, quanto alla conoscenza del bene e del male. Guardiamo che egli non stenda la mano e prenda anche del frutto dell’albero della vita, ne mangi e viva per sempre».
