F ar be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?”

Departe de Tine să faci un astfel de lucru: să-l omori pe cel drept împreună cu cel rău, astfel încât celui drept să i se facă la fel ca şi celui rău! Departe de Tine lucrul acesta! Oare nu va face Judecătorul întregului pământ ceea ce este drept?
