A s for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him, and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

Dar şi cu privire la Ismael te-am ascultat. Iată, îl voi binecuvînta, îl voi face să crească, şi îl voi înmulţi nespus de mult; doisprezece voievozi va naşte, şi voi face din el un neam mare.
