K oia ratou ka unga tangata atu, ka huihui i nga rangatira katoa o nga Pirihitini, a ka mea, Unga atu te aaka a te Atua o Iharaira kia whakahokia ki tona wahi, kei whakamatea matou me to matou iwi: he aitua whakamate hoki kei te pa katoa; he pehi rawa te ringa o te Atua ki reira.

So they sent and assembled all the lords of the Philistines and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel; let it return to its own place, that it may not slay us and our people. For there was a deadly panic throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.
