K atahi ka hinga tonu iho a Haora, tona roa katoa ki te whenua, nui rawa hoki tona wehi mo nga kupu a Hamuera: kahore ano he kaha i roto i a ia; kihai hoki ia i kai taro noa pau noa taua ra, pau noa taua po.

Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.
