N a ka mea taua whanaunga tata, E kore e taea te hoko e ahau maku; kei he toku kainga tupu: mau taku hokonga e hoko; e kore hoki e taea te hoko e ahau.

And the redeemer saith, `I am not able to redeem for myself, lest I destroy mine inheritance; redeem for thyself -- thou -- my right of redemption, for I am not able to redeem.'
