I riro hoki ia ia he honore, he kororia na te Atua Matua, i te putanga mai o taua reo ki a ia i roto i te kororia nui rawa, Ko taku Tama tenei i aroha ai, ko taku i ahuareka ai.

For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
