K ei te kaha tonu ahau i tenei ra, pera ano i te ra i tonoa ai ahau e Mohi: ko toku kaha i reira koia ano toku kaha inaianei mo te whawhai, mo te haere atu, mo te haere mai.

As yet I am as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me. As my strength was then, even so is my strength now for war, to go out and to come in.
