E kore e rite ki te kawenata i whakaritea e ahau ki o ratou matua, i arahi mai ai i a ratou i te whenua o Ihipa; kihai nei hoki ratou i u ki taku kawenata, a kore ake oku whakaaro ki a ratou, e ai ta te Ariki.

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the L ord.
