K ia nui ake te honore mo nga kaumatua e tohutohu pai ana; engari rawa ia mo te hunga ko ta ratou nei mahi ko te kupu, ko te whakaako.

¶ Let the elders that govern well be counted worthy of double honour, especially those who labour in the word and doctrine.
