E ngari kia tika ta koutou whakahaere, kia rite ki ta te rongopai o te Karaiti: na, ahakoa tae atu ahau kia kite i a koutou, ngaro mai ranei, kia rongo tonu atu ahau ki to koutou ahua, kei te tu koutou i runga i te wairua kotahi, i te ngakau kota hi, me te tohe tahi ano ki te whakapono o te rongopai:

¶ Only let your conversation be as is worthy of the gospel of Christ, that whether I come and see you or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, unanimous, working together for the faith of the gospel,
