A ka inoi ahau ki a Ihowa, ka mea, E Ihowa, e te Atua, kaua e whakangaromia tau iwi, tau taonga tupu, i hokona nei e koe i runga i tou nui, i whakaputaina mai nei e koe i Ihipa ki te ringa kaha.

And I prayed to the Lord, O Lord God, do not destroy Your people and Your heritage, whom You have redeemed through Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
