N a ka tango ahau i to koutou hara, i te kuao kau i hanga e koutou, a tahuna ana e ahau ki te ahi, patokia iho, whakangakungakutia ana kia ririki, ngotangota noa ano he puehu: na panga atu ana e ahau ona ngota ki te awa e rere iho ana i te maunga.

And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.
