N o te mea ka whakariroia ketia e ia tau tama, kei whai i ahau, kia mahi ai ratou ki nga atua ke: a ka mura te riri o Ihowa ki a koutou, ka huna whakarere hoki ia i a koe.

For they will turn away thy son from following me that they may serve other gods; and the anger of the LORD will be kindled upon you and destroy thee suddenly.
