K atahi ka mea te tangata, Mo ratou ra i whakarere i te kawenata a Ihowa, a te Atua o o ratou matua, i whakaritea e ia ki a ratou, i tana whakaputanga mai i a ratou i te whenua o Ihipa:

Then men will say, ‘It is because they did not keep the agreement of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.
