K i te mau tetahi tangata e tahae ana i tetahi o ona teina o nga tama a Iharaira, hei pononga mana, hei hoko ranei mana, me mate taua tahae: a ka whakakorea atu e koe te kino i roto i a koe.

If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
