W hakapaia e koe he huarahi, ka tapahi i nga rohe o tou whenua, ka whakawhiwhia nei e Ihowa, e tou Atua, ki a koe, kia toru nga wahanga, hei rerenga atu mo nga tangata whakamate katoa.

Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.
