K ia mahara hoki he pononga koe i mua, i te whenua o Ihipa, a na Ihowa, na tou Atua, koe i whakaora: koia ahau i whakahau ai i tenei mea ki a koe inaianei.

And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
