E kore hoki e kore te rawakore i te whenua: koia taku e whakahau nei ki a koe, e mea nei, Kia tuwhera tonu tou ringa ki tou teina, ki tou hunga matekai, ki ou rawakore, i tou whenua.

For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’
