K ei whakarongo koe ki nga korero a taua poropiti, a taua tangata moemoea ranei: e whakamatautau ana hoki a Ihowa, to koutou Atua, i a koutou, kia mohio ai e whakapaua ranei o koutou ngakau katoa, o koutou wairua katoa ki te aroha ki a Ihowa, ki t o koutou Atua.

you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams; for Yahweh your God is testing you, to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
