M aharatia, whakarangona enei kupu katoa e whakahau nei ahau ki a koe, kia whiwhi ai koe ki te pai, koutou ko au tamariki i muri i a koe, ake tonu atu, ina mahi koe i te mea e pai ana, e tika ana ki te titiro a Ihowa, a tou Atua.

Take heed to hear all these words which I command thee, that it may be well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest what is good and right in the eyes of Jehovah thy God.
