A hakoa hoki i whakapouritia koutou e ahau ki taku pukapuka, kahore ahau i te mea e he ana ahau, ahakoa i mahara pera i mua ra: kua kite nei hoki ahau na taua pukapuka koutou i mea kia pouri, ara pouri potopoto nei.

For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
