K oia ahau ka tuhituhi atu nei i enei mea, i ahau e ngaro mai nei, kei tae atu ahau ki kona, ka koi taku i runga i te mana kua tukua mai nei e te Ariki ki ahau hei hanga mo te whare, ehara i te mea hei wahi.

So I write these things while I am absent from you, that when I come to you, I may not have to deal sharply in my use of the authority which the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down.
