N o reira hei tohu nga reo ke, ehara ki te hunga whakapono, engari ki te hunga kahore e whakapono: ko te mahi poropiti ia he tohu, ehara ki te hunga kahore e whakapono, engari ki te hunga e whakapono ana.

Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
