M a te Atua! E whakawhetai tonu ana ahau ki a ia i runga i a Ihu Karaiti, i to tatou Ariki. Na, e mahi ana ahau ano nei, ara, toku hinengaro, ki te ture a te Atua, ko toku kikokiko ia ki te ture a te hara.

I thank God -- through Jesus Christ our Lord; so then, I myself indeed with the mind do serve the law of God, and with the flesh, the law of sin.
