I te pa ahau, i Hopa, e inoi ana; a ka kite moemoea ahau i tetahi whakakitenga, ko tetahi mea e heke iho ana, ano he kakahu nui, he mea tuku iho i te rangi ma nga pito e wha; a tae tonu mai ki ahau:

`I was in the city of Joppa praying, and I saw in a trance a vision, a certain vessel coming down, as a great sheet by four corners being let down out of the heaven, and it came unto me;
