N a ko te meatanga a te wahine o Hamaria ki a ia, he aha koe, he Hurai na koe, ka tono mai ai i te wai i ahau, he wahine nei ahau no Hamaria? kahore hoki e tata ana nga Hurai ki nga Hamarai.

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
