K atahi ka mea a Ihu ki a ratou, Maku hoki e ui ki a koutou; He mea tika ranei te mahi pai i te hapati, te mahi kino ranei? te whakaora, te whakamate ranei?

And Jesus said unto them, I ask you, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to destroy it?
