T ena ko te tangata i rongo, a kihai i mahi, ka rite ia ki te tangata i hanga i tetahi whare ki runga ki te oneone, te ai he turanga: i te pakarutanga o te roma, na hinga tonu iho; a nui atu te pakaru o taua whare.

But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”
