N a ka tupu taua tamaiti, a ka kaha haere tona wairua, a noho ana i nga koraha, taea noatia te ra e whakakitea ai ia ki a Iharaira.

And the little boy grew and became strong in spirit; and he was in the deserts (wilderness) until the day of his appearing to Israel.
