N a ka hotu tona wairua, ka mea ia, He aha tenei whakatupuranga ka rapu ai ki te tohu? he pono taku e mea nei ki a koutou, E kore e hoatu he tohu ki tenei whakatupuranga.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.
