N ana, e haere ana tenei tatou ki Hiruharama; a ka tukua te Tama a te tangata ki nga tohunga nui, ki nga karaipi; ka kiia e ratou kia mate, ka tuku hoki ratou i a ia ki nga tauiwi:

Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be turned over to the chief priests and the scribes; and they will condemn and sentence Him to death and turn Him over to the Gentiles.
