T ena ia, ki te whakakahoretia e tona papa i te ra i rongo ai ia; e kore tetahi o ana ki taurangi, o ana here hoki e herea ai e ia tona wairua e u: a ka whakarerea noatia e Ihowa ki a ia, no te mea kua whakakahoretia tana e tona papa.

But if her father forbids her in the day that he hears, none of her vows, or of her bonds with which she has bound her soul, shall stand. Yahweh will forgive her, because her father has forbidden her.
