K ei te moe au hepara, e te kingi o Ahiria; ko au metararahi kei te takoto; kua marara atu tou iwi ki runga ki nga maunga, kahore hoki he kaihuihui.

Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria; thy nobles are at rest; thy people are scattered upon the mountains, and there is none to gather them.
