K o te tangata pai o ratou, rite tonu ki te tumatakuru: ko te mea tino tika, kino atu i te taiepa tataramoa: kua tae mai te ra o au tutei, ara te ra e whiua ai koe; ko aianei ratou pokaikaha ai.

The best of them is like a brier; The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge; The day of your watchman and your punishment comes; Now shall be their perplexity.
