E whakawa ana ona upoko, he mea na te patipati, e whakaako ana ona tohunga, he mea na te utu; ko ona poropiti na te hiriwa i kite tikanga ai; otiia kei te whakawhirinaki ratou ki a Ihowa, kei te mea, He teka ianei kei roto a Ihowa i a tatou? e k ore tetahi he e pa ki a tatou.

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet they lean upon Jehovah, and say, Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? no evil shall come upon us.
