H e teka ianei, ki taku, he rite koutou ki nga tama a nga Etiopiana, e nga tama a Iharaira? e ai ta Ihowa. He teka ianei naku a Iharaira i kawe mai i te whenua o Ihipa? nga Pirihitini i Kapatoro? me nga Hiriani i Kiri?

Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the Lord. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
