K a pera me te tangata i rere atu i te aroaro o te raiona, a ka tutaki te pea ki a ia; i haere ranei ki roto ki te whare, a okioki atu ana tona ringa ki te pakitara, na ngaua iho ia e te nakahi.

It will be as though a man fled from a lion, And a bear met him! Or as though he went into the house, Leaned his hand on the wall, And a serpent bit him!
