K ua patua koutou e ahau ki te ngingio, ki te koriri: nui noa a koutou kari, a koutou mara waina, a koutou piki, a koutou oriwa, pau ake i te whangawhanga: heoi kihai koutou i hoki mai ki ahau, e ai ta Ihowa.

Os herí con viento abrasador y con añublo; y la oruga ha devorado vuestros muchos huertos y viñedos, vuestras higueras y vuestros olivos; pero no os habéis vuelto a mí —declara el Señor.
