K ei hanga koutou he whakapakoko ma koutou, kei whakaara ranei he whakapakoko, he mea whaowhao, he pou ranei, kaua ano hoki he kohatu ahua ki to koutou whenua hei koropikotanga atu: ko Ihowa hoki ahau, ko to koutou Atua.

Ye shall make you no idols, neither shall ye rear you up a graven image, or a pillar, neither shall ye place any figured stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am Jehovah your God.
