K o nga mea katoa ko te kopu hei haere, me nga mea katoa ko taua tu haere o nga wae e wha, ara ko nga mea katoa he maha nga waewae, i roto i nga mea ngoki katoa e ngoki nei i runga i te whenua, kaua ena e kainga; he mea whakarihariha hoki.

Whatever crawls on its belly, and whatever walks on all fours, whatever has many feet, in respect to every swarming thing that swarms on the earth, you shall not eat them, for they are detestable.
