T atua i a koutou ki te kakahu taratara, e tangi, e koutou e nga tohunga; aue, e nga minita o te aata: haere mai, hei te mea taratara he kakahu mo koutou i te po, e nga minita o toku Atua: kua kore nei hoki te whakahere totokore me te ringihanga i roto i te whare o to koutou Atua.

Gird yourselves with sackcloth, and lament, ye priests; wail, ye ministers of the altar; come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meal-offering and the drink-offering are withholden from the house of your God.
